How Does an Electric Foundation Embedder Work?

An electric beeswax foundation embedder works by passing a low-voltage electrical current through the wire fitted to a beehive frame.

As the wire heats up, it softens the surrounding beeswax, allowing the wire to settle into the foundation sheet.
